Summarizing

The above steps should significantly improve your PC’s performance. But software optimization can reach certain limits with hardware upgrades. So, consider upgrading to an SSD, it will dramatically increase your OS boot times and overall read and write speeds. Most modern laptops can include an SSD drive by replacing the CD case. And you can use the SSD as a secondary drive alongside your regular hard drive.

Likewise, if your computer freezes when switching between two apps, or when you are using the Google Chrome browser (which is very memory-hungry), consider upgrading your RAM. Sometimes the computer slowed down due to excessive heat. So, if you have an older computer, chances are dust particles in the vents are obstructing the airflow. To fix this, open your computer and remove dust particles from the spray gun. If you are unsure how to do this, take it to the nearest computer workshop.

Hope this helps, and make a comment below to share your thoughts and experiences on using the above methods to speed up a slow Windows 10 PC.
