I’m a pen addict and this is the right size for me to carry my favorite supplies without overcrowding my bag or being too big. It will fit writing utensils as long as a Tombow dual brush pen, but I wouldn’t put them in the mesh pocket. Very snug fit. However, they will fit fine in the back under the elastic bands. It is holding up well to everyday use. .
My daughter has color coordinated Mechanical Pencils, pens, highlighters and ??? stored in this. It would hold our TI graphing calculator, but as ours has a hard case, she keeps this separate. It seems to be working so far for a HS student and keeps a lot of items organized. Eventually some pens will need to come out to make room for a compass and protractor . but there should still be plenty of room. .
I have purchased two of these month apart for my 13 year old daughter and both basically came apart after several months (less than a year) The size and shape are great but the durability is the downfall. The thread would come undone and the zipper would start malfunctioning, I prefer a product that would last all school year. .
Perfect size for a kids pencil case. My 7 year old loves it. If you have a ton of stuff it may not fit but it’s great for grade school. .
