One of the batteries was missing .
This calculator requires two batteries . however it only comes with one battery I paid over $5 for the other battery needed description should stated that batteries are not included . thanks .
It did what my Granddaughter wanted, The quality is ok and the case is a bear to get off but all around so far does what it’s supposed to do .
I can’t even tell if the calculator works or not because it only came with one battery know I have to spend even more money on another battery making this item worth more then what I thought I would have to pay has a college student on a tight budget this was really an annoyance .

I picked this up to be my daily driver calculator. I don’t like to use software calculators since they, and the platform they run on, are routinely updated and I can’t expect them to behave the same from one update to the next. This calc is easy to program and keeps its memory when you change batteries (you have to follow the instructions!). The programming language is very simple and that makes it easy to create programs without having to learn an overly complex language for one device.Mine came with an English insert in the fold over cover. I’ve noticed that some are in another language in various pictures. There are enough direct access functions on the buttons to make me happy. Any calculations that are annoying (too many menus, etc) should simply be programmed into it to remove the annoyance.I love that it takes a regular AAA (LR03, NOT LR44 as the description states) battery, that was a main drawing point. I hate coin cell batteries (even though I own a few HP calculators that run on them and I love those calcs — RPN!).I haven’t really found any negatives to the calculator yet. I also suggest spending the ten bills on the HP Prime app if you have an Android device. It is an amazing platform and very fast. One huge benefit of a software calculator is that it is presented on a lit screen so you can use it in the dark or dimly lit places. I still prefer a non-software calculator most of the time but having the Prime on hand wherever your phone is can be quite handy and it can present visuals for others. .
This calculator fills an uncommon niche in the calculator world nowadays. It’s programmable, but can’t graph. Typically you can get a cheap scientific calculator for $20 that isn’t programmable and can’t graph or you can spend $100+ and get a calculator that is programmable and can graph. This calculator falls in between those two main categories. I like it because it has a multi-line display and big function library. You can program it in Casio’s version of BASIC that you’ll be familiar with if you’ve ever used one of their graphing calculators. It also has a TON of memory for storing programs.Other good things about this calculator are the familiar Casio interface (well, familiar if you’ve used a Casio before, TI users probably won’t like it), generous sized and easily viewable screen, and good build quality. The only downside I can see for this calculator is that it can’t connect to another calculator or computer so you can’t transfer programs and files, any programs you want to use have to be keyed in by hand. .
Just what we needed for School .
It is casio; the best. Please go back to the plastic cover. It is simply safer, manegeable, and better. The cover that comes now force you to spend more time taking care of protecting it than working on it. Thank you .
