At first I thought the solar power component wasn’t working, so I added batteries, and the same thing was happening.rnrnFirst off, it doesn’t actually calculate simple addition correctly. For example 600+5 = 603rnSecondly, the screen display is AWFUL. It doesn’t actually show the whole part of a number.rnrnI’ve tried to attach a video so you can see this horrible calculator in action and avoid it at all costs. . As they say, you get what you pay for.rnWhile there are two calculators, two of a lousy product is double trouble. The keys are not responsive. The if the solar strip get blocked a little bit the display fails. I am left handed and when I use the calculator my hand will come in between the solar strip and the ceiling light. When that happens the numbers disappear. Mind you, I’m not talking about it being dark around the calculator. There is enough ambient light for the solar cell to collect. I’ve have calculators of this type for years without experiencing this issue.rnThen the keys . some I have to pound hard to get a digit out.rnSorry. I cannot recommend this product. Spend your money on a Casio or Texas Instrument. . I bought these to just have as quick grabs in the office & kitchen. They have that solar/light panel & the battery option. I popped batteries in each multiple times & played around with them but can’t seem to darker the #s or brighten the screen to be able to see easily. Eh, not going to go through the return process for these. Just will say do not recommend 🙁 . I bought these calculators in Aug 2018. As of March 2019 they no longer work. My old hand-held calculator lasted me well over 10 years. I actually still use it; I just needed another for home and office. Oh well. Can’t return obviously. In the trash it goes.
