Screen looks great in color. Some learning to do with this as with anything but is a great graphing calculator and has been the go too in graphing calculators. The case is the cover and protects the face of it. I have the 83 and it has lasted for years and is still going. The case protects the items fantastically. I Love this one because it is color and you can see things a little clearer in terms or graphing. If you are like me then this is what you want if you just want the functionality of a great graphing calculator then TI-83 might work just as well for you. As for me, this one is it. .
I get that it doesn’t come with a charger. But if it would have at least been charged when I got it so I knew that it worked that would have been Great. That would have also given me time to buy a charger that I didn’t know I needed because I thought this took batteries ( my fault). However, doing us a courtesy and charging them would have been great. .
It isn’t bad. The calculator is functioning, does everything it is suppose to do. However, few places (including the screen) have scratch marks on it. The plastic cover is not the original one because it is a light/bright sky blue unlike the one shown in the picture (dark blue), so I think it looks kind of ugly because the cover and calculator does not match. I was kind of disappointed. .
It works as a calculator should. Don’t know the formulas but I’ve not been asked to do math so we’re good there. .

I have been a math teacher for many years; I teach several different levels of algebra. I have wanted the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition since I first read it was in production. Just the idea of graphing in color was more than enough to excite me. Now that I own it and see so much more this calculator can do, I can’t wait to learn how to do EVERYTHING. I am especially happy about the little “For Dummies” booklet that came with it. This calculator actually allows users to upload images! Wow!I make how-to videos for my students. I can’t wait to show them graphs in color!!!!!!! .

I have had this product for about 4-5 years. Works great. Technology is still up to date. Very durable. .
Granddaughter loved it worked well for her in school and will be able to use it all the way through college .
