It sits on my desk and is large enough that it doesn’t hide under my papers. It is powered by my LED lamp because there is no natural light, and the display tilts just enough to kill any glare. My previous calculator was flat and I usually had to pick it up to see the display, and it did not include the memory feature, so I tossed it out of frustration. This one has it all! . I have to say this is very good calculator,prefect size for the waitress,very easy to press.the waitress very happy they can calculate their tip fast and right! . AA battery is included with the calculator. The instructions may require a magnifying glass and there are keys on the calculator for which there are no instructions. Also, the instructions have information on keys that are not on the model of calculator we purchased.
