Both my high school aged kids had to have this for their math class in 9th grade. I shopped around and found the best price (both times) here on Amazon. My oldest is in college now and still uses this calculator so, even tho I thought it was ridiculous at the time to have to spend this much money for a calculator, it has been worth the investment. It still works great. If using it on a test make sure to have an extra set of batteries handy – just in case – you never know when they might go out. It doesn’t use up batteries fast but you know – if it’s going to happen – it will be at the wrong time LOL so be prepared. .

was bought for teenage child at the beginning of school year, she said its a good calculator & has no complaints of any kind on this item. The price was ok I guess & the this vender shipped it fast & pkg’g was good also. Mine came with a manual inside the pkg so I don’t understand how some reviewers said they didn’t get one when they bought this item, that’s one Texas Instruments not the vendor. .
I needed this calculator for a class, and didn’t want to pay an outrageous price. The price was decent on this one, and I did really like the blue as opposed to the boring old black. There was a small scuff on the casing, but I don’t mind one bit. The calculator works perfectly, and that’s all I could have asked of it! .
