Easy Ways to Create Cartoon Avatar of Yourself.
I’m sure you’ve seen people using “cartoon themselves” as their demo image on various internet forums and social networks. But have you ever wondered how these “cartoon characters” are created?
Well, I’ve seen two ways to do it. The first is with advanced image editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. This method is skillful and relatively difficult for beginners, while the second method is simple. That is, using free online tools that can turn your photo into cartoon-like images.
Benefits of using online tools to create your own cartoon character:
- Ease of use
- All you need is an internet connection and a few clicks here and there.
- No third party software required.
- No registration or registration, free and simple.
- Images can be downloaded to your computer

Bitstrips
Bitstrips is by far the best and most popular site for creating your own cartoons. Just go to the website and you can start right away by choosing your gender and then progress by choosing parts of the face such as eyes, nose, chin, hair style, etc. It also has an Android and iOS app.
When you are satisfied with your last “avatarâ€, you can save it by logging into your Facebook account. But if you want to do more, you can even create your character in different scenes or create an entire comic. Below is a “cartoon image of me” with his travels.
Portrait illustration maker
I used this site before I learned about bit stripes. The interface is simple and straightforward. You can create a “random avatar” for yourself or create an avatar that looks like you. The procedure is the same: start by choosing the shape of the head, and then continue with choosing the eyes, nose, hair, clothes, and so on.
Once you are done with your avatar, you can download it in png or jpg format. However, the image resolution is too low for use in SNW, but suitable for an internet forum.
The Q face
Unlike others, this is not an online service but a FaceQ Android app. The only reason to have it on the list is because of the popularity of Android. I like the interface, it’s clean and simple, no ads. The process of creating your cartoon avatar is similar to the two aforementioned websites i.e. combining different facial parts of the face.
Below is my avatar that I created with FaceQ.

There are many websites where you can create your own avatar, but in this post, we covered three of the best ones. They are free, simple, and less time consuming. If you use other websites, please let me know their name and why you think they are better than the above.
