Hide Photos On iOS The Easy Way.
It’s always great to be able to share your favorite photos with your friends, but what about these annoying spies who seem to have to swipe left or right?
Many of us have photos on our iPhone or iPad that we would like to keep secret, and placing them front and center in the film is a great way to easily spot them with the prying eye.
Fortunately, the process of hiding a photo on iOS is incredibly easy. This method won’t make photos impenetrable for prying people, but it is ideal for friends and family who tend to flip through your photo library too far.
Hide photos in iOS
First go to the Photos app.
Click “Select” in the upper right corner and select all the photos you want to hide.
Click the Share button in the bottom left corner and a menu similar to the image below should appear. The bottom row has several different options for what you can do with the selected photos.

You may have to swipe left or right a little, but you’re looking for an option that says Hide.
Click Hide and a confirmation pop-up will appear informing you that the image will be hidden from your library, but will still be available through the hidden album.
If you have hidden the photo correctly, you should now see your photos in the Hidden list under Other Albums.
It’s important to note that a hidden album isn’t necessarily secure, it just takes more digging to access the files.
It’s not ideal for hiding private photos entirely, but it’s a 10-second process to ensure that your photos aren’t in the foreground and center of your film. Enjoy!
