How to Cancel Audible Subscription on App.
Audible is expensive. The most popular Gold plan starts at $ 15 per month and you get one loan every month. And if you need more than one book, you may have to spend $ 20 or $ 30 depending on the titles. So, if you’re like most people who end up canceling their subscription after a free trial, here’s how you do it on your Android and iOS devices.
If you’ve purchased an Audible subscription and can’t find an option to cancel it, you’re not alone. Audible deliberately made it difficult to unsubscribe on mobile devices. I will show you how to cancel your Audible subscription on mobile. Let’s start.
How to cancel the audio subscription in the application
Audible’s official cancellation method requires you to sign in and cancel your account from your computer. Now, if you don’t have access to a computer, you can still cancel your Audible subscription from your smartphone.
There is no way to unsubscribe from Audible in the app, but you can use a mobile browser.
First, open a web browser on your smartphone and log into your Audible account. This method works for both Android and iOS as we use a web browser to unsubscribe instead of an app.
After logging in. Click the hamburger icon (3 vertical dots) in the upper left corner of the Audible home page web page.
A list of options will open on the left. Click on the My Account option.
On the left you will see several options, click “View Membership Information”.
This will pull up your subscription plan and the cancel button should be here. Unfortunately, this is not so. Now just change your web page layout to desktop mode. To do this, click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.
Then click “Request Desktop Site” on the browser options page. You can find it by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of your browser.
Clicking on desktop mode will load the web page again and open the PC version of the web page. You will have to pinch and zoom in order to get a better view.
If you check again as part of your subscription, you will now see a Cancel Membership button.
Click the button and follow the instructions to unsubscribe. It will show you a screen with the message “If you cancel, you will lose your creditsâ€, go to the next page by clicking “No thanks, continue cancelingâ€. Follow the instructions to delete your account.
What happens after you cancel your membership?
Congratulations, you have successfully unsubscribed from Audible. You can join at any time in the future if you change your mind. You will not get your credits back because they are part of the membership, so keep that in mind. However, the books you purchased will remain in your account and you can still access them even after canceling.
If you are ditching Audible due to high subscription fees, then you’re in luck. Audible offers a reason why you unsubscribe if you choose “it’s too expensive”. Audible is offering 50% off the next 3 months, which is great.
