1. Download Reddit videos using the app
I don’t use the Reddit app on iPhone that often, but it has its advantages. It makes it easy to download videos hosted on Reddit servers to your iPhone. Slide for Reddit is another Reddit client app that also lets you upload videos to your iPhone. Just press and hold the video and hit the Download button in the context menu. It couldn’t be easier. While these two apps are handy, they only work with videos hosted on Reddit servers. If you want to download videos from other sources, please use the following method.
2. Download Reddit videos using a website
If you’re a person like me who doesn’t like installing apps, when you can access most of the content from a web page, then we should be friends. Ripsave is a website that only allows you to download videos from a URL. Unlike the aforementioned apps, it not only allows you to download videos hosted on Reddit servers but also save videos from Instagram, Facebook and many other sources.
Just copy the link to the Reddit post that has the video and paste it into the address bar of the Ripsave webpage. It will receive detailed information and show all possible video resolutions that you can download. Just press and hold the Upload button and upload the linked file to the Photos app.
Pro tip: Use the Safari browser to save videos to iPhone. This website will not work if you do not have iOS 13 installed on your device.

To get a video from a post, copy the post url and upload it to the Redv.co website and press and hold the upload button to save the video.
3. Downloading Reddit Videos Using Siri Shortcuts
Media Mutt is a Siri shortcut created by @supermamon that allows you to download videos from not only Reddit servers, but most video hosting sites as well. It includes Imgur, Giphy, Gifycat and even YouTube. If you can point him to the URL of the video, he might spit the video back at you.
Just download the shortcut from this link and install it on your iPhone. To download the video, open the Reddit post that contains the video in Safari. Then hit the Share button and scroll down to find the Media Mutt shortcut. It will take some time to get the video to the URL and show its preview. Then you can save the video to your iPhone by clicking the Save Video button on the Share sheet.
