How to Get Google Calendar Events on Your Android Home Screen.
The Android at a glance widget has great features introduced in Android 10, such as flight information and reminders. Until then, you can use this widget to get upcoming events from your Google Calendar right from your home screen. It used to be a Pixel feature, but this is how you do it on any Android device.
Get calendar events on Android home screen
If you have a Pixel or stock Android for Android, you may already have the Quick Tour widget because the Google app is preinstalled. If you don’t, download the Google app from the Play Store. This will provide the “At a Glance” widget.

To display the widget on the home screen, press and hold and then tap Widgets. In the widget panel, go to the Google App section and drag the “At a glance” widget.
Now, when you click on the widget, you will be taken directly to Google Calendar and you can add events to your calendar, which will appear directly on your home page. Google Calendar also collects important events from Gmail. Notifies about payment of bills and flight schedules. If you have a Pixel, events are also visible on the lock screen.
