How to Get Peacock TV Outside of the US.

With over 20,000 hours of content including shows like Parks and Rec, SNL, Battlestar Galactica, and more, it also has a catalog of popular films like The Matrix Trilogy, Jurassic Park franchise and many more. … The most exciting part, however, is the ad-free plan that doesn’t require a credit card and you can just start browsing. Except for one little thing, it’s only available in the US, but that has never stopped us. Let’s see how to get Peacock TV outside of the US.

Plans
Peacock TV is launching its service with a three-tier subscription model.
First, it’s a free ad-supported version that has limited content, including roughly 13,000 hours of NBC Universal content.
The second tier plan, Peacock Premium, costs $ 4.99 a month and is also ad-supported, but includes more than double the content of the free plan, as well as exclusive original Peacock shows.
Finally, a $ 9.99 / month plan that offers the same content as Peacock TV Premium, but no ads.
How do you get peacock TV?
If you live outside the United States and try to sign in to the service, you will receive the message “This service is not available in your area.” We can easily get around this problem simply by using a good VPN and connecting it to a server in the US. Peacock TV is currently available on the web, Android, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS, Xbox One, and LG Smart TV. I would show you how to launch Peacock TV in a web browser, Android and iOS.
Get Peacock TV on the web
Let’s start with the Internet first. Get the good VPN app you are using and connect to a US server on your computer. I’m using Smart DNS Proxy for this article, but you can use any VPN that works for you. Once connected, go to your web browser.
In a web browser, open the peacocktv.com website using this link or by entering it in the address bar at the top. If your VPN is effective, you will see the website welcome page. You will need to create an account before you can start browsing the content. Click the Start Watch button to get started.
Fill in your details such as email address, password and agree to the terms. After that, just click on the “Create Account” button. When you create a free account, you will not be prompted for your credit card information, but you can always update it in the future.
That’s it, you should now be greeted by the Peacock TV catalog. Browse the content and click any title to start playback.
I played an episode from Parks and Rec and as you can see it works. The only drawback is dependence on your internet and VPN. Video quality may be slightly worse as the source directory is currently limited to 1080p.
2. Get Peacock TV on Android
Getting Peacock TV is pretty easy. If your Play Store account is set to US, you can just find the app in the store, however, you can also download the APK from APKmirror and save yourself the hassle. Open APKmirror.com in your smartphone browser and search for Peacock TV or install the app by clicking on this link.
Once the download is complete, install it on your phone, but DO NOT open the app.
Open the VPN app installed on your smartphone and connect it to a server in the US. I used Turbo VPN, but you can choose any VPN you like. Once the VPN is connected, go to the home screen.
Now open the Peacock TV app with VPN running in the background and register just like we did before for the web version. Once you have an account, log in and you’re done. The app is ready and you can browse the free catalog without any problems.
If the app stops working anyway, you can simply exit the app, clear the cache and app data for the Peacock TV app, and launch it again with the VPN connected and it should start working again.
The mobile app does not currently have an offline download feature, but NBC promises that this feature will be added in the future. Also, there are no profiles on Peacock TV.
3. Get Peacock TV on iOS
Unlike Android, you can’t easily download apps to your iPhone, and the Peacock TV app isn’t available on the App Store outside of the US. However, you can change the country of your app store in the settings, but remember that you will lose all active subscriptions. You can check out this guide to change your country in the App Store.
After changing the App Store to US, open the App Store, search for Peacock TV and install it on your iPhone, but DO NOT open it.
Open the VPN app of your choice and connect to a US server. Once the VPN is connected, swipe up to return home.
Now open the Peacock TV app and login. If you have not yet created an account, you will be prompted to create one. This is a one minute process and after that you are ready to browse the catalog.
Last words
Overall, I really like the free ad plan for Peacock TV. However, I would love to see NBC announcing plans for other countries soon. Also, there is no app for Amazon Fire TV and Roku (like HBO max), which are two of the most popular streaming devices in the world. Hopefully NBC will do something about it soon.
