On the days of online syncing, all your contacts are automatically synced across all your devices as long as you’re signed in to the same account. This is why it is so important to keep all your contacts updated. If you’re moving to a new Gmail or Google account, here’s how you can import contacts to Gmail from various sources (including Outlook, Android, and iCloud) in CSV and VCF (vCard) formats.
How To Export Contacts From Outlook
If you are using the Microsoft suite and are using your Outlook account to sync contacts, you will find all your contacts stored in the People section of the Outlook website.

First, you need to make sure iCloud contact sync is turned on. To do this, open the Settings app and click on your profile at the top. Here, select the iCloud option and on the next screen make sure the Contacts switch is turned on.
Now open the iCloud website in your desktop or laptop browser and after logging in, select the Contacts option.
Click the gear icon in the upper left corner and select the Select All option. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command / Control + A. Now click the gear icon again and select the Export vCard option.
iCloud will instantly download the VCF file to your computer.

This is a very simple application that allows you to export contacts and email them from your iPhone. By default, the application exports contacts in VCF (vCard) format, but you can change it to CSV in the application settings menu.
Open the app and tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner. Here go to Type and select CSV (Excel) format.
To export your contacts, open the My Contacts backup and give the application permission to access your contacts. Then click the Backup icon. The app will start backing up all your contacts.
When the process is complete, click the Email button. In the compose email menu, enter your email address to email the contact file to yourself. Then click the “Submit” button.
Check your inbox to see if you received an email with a contact file.
How To Import Contacts To Gmail
Now that you’ve exported your contacts and are ready to work with your CSV or VCF file, it’s time to import the contacts to your Gmail or Google account.
To do this, go to the Google Contacts site and sign in to your Google account. In the sidebar, select the Import option.
In the pop-up window, click the Select File button.
Now select and open the CSV or VCF file you want to import.
Click the Import button in the pop-up window.
Google Contacts will now get started and start importing all the contacts in the file.
After a couple of seconds, you will see that all contacts appear on the Google Contacts site.
These contacts will now be available on all devices on which you have turned on Google sync.
Now that you’ve switched to your new Gmail account, don’t forget to delete the data in your old Google account.
