  • Set the camera to a monochrome background, such as a wall.
  • A green wall works best, otherwise choose colors that contrast with your skin tone.
  • Make sure you are wearing clothes that do not match. background color.
  • For best results, experiment with adding or dimming light in your room.
  • Higher quality cameras often produce better results.
  • Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to add your own image for your own background. You can choose any image from your PC, but it is recommended to use an aspect ratio of 16: 9 with a resolution of at least 1280 × 720 pixels.

Where to find video backgrounds dedicated to zoom in / out

Finding any image on the Internet to use as a background is pretty easy, but when it comes to a background image for a video, it’s a little tricky.

The tricky part is finding background videos that repeat perfectly so you can create the best effect. If the video keeps jumping back and forth, it really ruins the immersion. Here are some of our top tips for finding custom Zoom background images that repeat perfectly.

    Coverr

Coverr is a free stock video website with a large library of content available for download. Coverr recently added its own Zoom Virtual Backgrounds section, which filters out all content marked as suitable for use as a virtual background.

You will find all kinds of pictures, from peaceful landscapes to incredible landmarks. You will find many beautiful backgrounds that loop, so they are perfect for home use as a virtual Zoom background.

    Pexels

Pexels is another free photo and video site. While there is no dedicated section for Zoom background images, a quick search for exactly this will yield a large list of relevant results.

While Coverr has more realistic backgrounds at first glance, Pexels offers many more creative options, such as a shoal of colorful fish or a stunning glow in dark jellyfish.

    Canva

Canva is a really powerful design tool that now has a section just for creating your own Zoom backgrounds. You can add beautiful effects, backgrounds, videos, stickers, and more. Once you’re done, you can download your creation and upload it directly to your Zoom room or account.
