How to Remove Saved Login Info on Instagram iOS App?.
Almost everyone I know is on Instagram. And the other day, a friend of mine logged into his Instagram account from my iPhone and was unable to log out, claiming to have accidentally clicked “Remember login informationâ€. Deleting accounts on Android is now a simple tap away, but to my surprise, I couldn’t find that option on iOS. After a small carriage, it turns out that this option is hidden deep under the settings. So, if you find yourself in the same situation as me, here’s how to fix it.

It is easy to remove Instagram account on Android
Instagram automatically saves your password for easy login, unless you choose otherwise. This is true for both the Android and iOS versions of the app. However, in the case of the Instagram app for Android, it is very easy to delete a saved account from the app, and this option is right on the login page.
Even if you don’t see this option, you can simply go to the Instagram app settings and clear the cache and app data to log out of all accounts on your Android smartphone.
Remove an account on the Instagram app for iOS
The Instagram iOS app also saves your logins, but unlike Android, you can’t just delete the saved login information from the login page, this option is hidden deep in the settings. There are two scenarios when you want to delete your login details on your Instagram app.
- You have multiple accounts at the same time and want to delete one or all of them
- You only have one account and want to delete saved login information
1. Remove the login information saved for multiple accounts
Most people manage multiple Instagram accounts such as personal and business accounts. If you have multiple accounts signed in to the Instagram app and have saved the login details for all accounts, deleting them is very easy. Just go to the login page by logging out of your account. On the login page, you will see several accounts. Click on the “Edit Accounts” option.
Click the red (-) button in the upper right corner of the account to remove the account from the application. You can delete all accounts easily with this method.

2. Remove one account
This method does not work if you have saved your login details for the same account in the Instagram app. The app does not show you the option to edit or delete accounts on the login page. Even if you uninstall the Instagram app from your phone and reinstall it, the account will still remain there.
To delete your account from Instagram, please log into your Instagram account in the app. Go to your profile page by clicking the button in the lower right corner of the app. Click the “Hamburger” button in the upper right corner and select “Settings”.
Scroll through the list of options and select Privacy & Security Settings. Scroll down to the Security tab and click Saved Login Information.
The toggle switch disables the automatic password save function and allows you to delete the saved login information. During testing, this allowed me to successfully delete my saved Instagram app login information.
Now go back to Settings and sign out of your account and remember to click Not Now so that the app will no longer save your login details.
Now your account has been successfully deleted, saved login details from Instagram iOS app. It will not re-login, but will first ask for the account password.
Remove the Facebook app
I used the above two methods, but I was still able to log in without entering a password because I had the Facebook app installed and my Instagram is linked to my Facebook account. You can uninstall the Facebook app from your iPhone to remove all traces of a seamless login. Now no one can spy on your Instagram account.
Remove Instagram account
It was a quick way to delete account login details on Instagram iOS app. The lack of a delete button is likely due to iOS design limitations and they had to go that route.
