How To View & Cancel Your iOS Subscriptions On Your iDevice.
One of the things I love about owning a tablet (in my case an iPad) is that I can unsubscribe from all print magazine subscriptions and go digital. Besides magazines, there are other types of subscriptions such as app updates and games, all of which can be viewed and tracked through iTunes.
But what if you suddenly need to cancel one or more subscriptions? Many people I talk to mistakenly believe that undo can only be done through iTunes on the desktop. But you can also do this in your iDevice settings.
- First go to Settings .
How to cancel an iOS subscription in XX Easy steps
- First, go to “ Settings “.
In settings, tap your name at the top of the screen. Your Apple ID will open.
Now scroll down until you find “iTunes & App Store “. Choose this.
At the top of the next screen, you’ll see your Apple ID email address. Click on it.
A smaller white box will appear on the screen, again showing your Apple ID. Click View Apple ID . Here you will be asked to enter your account password (or provide a fingerprint if you have Touch ID enabled).

On the next screen, scroll down until you see “ Subscriptions “. Click on it.
This is now the page where you will see your subscriptions. “Active” at the top and “Expired” at the bottom.
So I’m going to cancel my subscription to Men’s Health, as I already have huge muscles. Click on it to find out the current subscription status.
If you look at the screenshot above, you will see a small blue arrow next to one of the subscription options. This means that this is the one you are currently following. If you want to go to another subscription option, click on it so that the blue arrow moves. Or, if you want to completely cancel your subscription, click Unsubscribe .
You will now be asked to confirm your decision and will also tell you how much time is left until your current subscription level. If you still want to cancel, click Confirm .
To be absolutely sure that the subscription is canceled, go back to it again and make sure the blue checkmark is unchecked. The red link “ Unsubscribe †should also disappear and should be replaced with “ Please select an option to subscribe â€.
