The Best Websites for Buying Computer Parts Online

The Best Websites for Buying Computer Parts Online.

Do you have an old laptop or desktop computer and want to upgrade your hard drive and memory without buying a new computer? Or maybe you are getting rid of an old car and want to build your dream car? Either way, you’ll want to find compatible PC hardware at the lowest price point.

There are many online stores that sell computer and technical products, but there are a few that consistently offer great deals on many computer hardware components.

In this article, I will mention several websites that I use to find good parts deals. If you have other sites or methods that you use, feel free to post them in the comments!

By the way, if you are not sure which part will be compatible with the motherboard, etc., be sure to visit PC Part Picker, a great site that will allow you to build and evaluate a custom PC. … The best part is that it will tell you if certain parts are incompatible with each other.

Nuj.com

Newegg.com has always been a great choice for buying all kinds of computer components, from webcams and hard drives to graphics cards, power supplies, fans, and more and more

They just have a bunch of stuff and geeks love to buy their gear there. They also have a great return policy, so if something doesn’t work, you can always return it for free and get another one.

What I love about Newegg is that they have Shell Shocker deals, daily deals, and eggextra! transactions are ongoing. In some of these offers, you can find really cool stuff for the cheap.

Micro Center

Micro Center is known for its great deals on processors, so always check their website and you may find the lowest price for the processor you are about to buy.

They also have brick and mortar stores, so you can go and try to find a deal, too. Alternatively, you can buy something online and pick it up the same day if you live nearby, which is a nice perk.

The shops are also really fun places to stay because they have play installations, a system builder center, and more to kill the time. Finally, the people in the store are really tech-savvy, so you can ask them questions and they can’t answer.

Tjarderga.com

If you need some hardware, it’s always a good idea to check out Newegg and TigerDirect and buy from a cheaper seller.

They have a really good shipping policy and you can usually get free shipping on orders over $ 100. TigerDirect has been around since the 80s and they really have great deals.

Another way to find great deals is to sign up for deal notifications at their retail stores. I live in Dallas and TigerDirect has a local retail store, which means I sometimes find even better deals in the retail store than on the website. If you live near a TigerDirect retail store, subscribe to these email alerts!

Critical.com

Crucial.com is one of my favorite sites because it really helps you if you are not a technician and need help finding the right parts for your specific system. Previously, they just gave recommendations on memory, but now they also help you find compatible internal hard drives and solid state drives.

They are not really hardware retailers, but since most consumers actually only ever upgrade their memory or buy a new hard drive, this is perfect for finding the right hardware for your system.

I always use Crucial to find the item I want and then search Newegg and TigerDirect to see if I can find that part there for less.

Frees.com

If you have a Fry’s Electronics store near you, you can find insane discounts on many computer parts.

They have a huge range of products and they always have big sales for small and big tickets, especially in the store. You can check their ads or subscribe to some of the deal sites like TechBargains, which has a Frys Deals section.

I recently managed to buy a new iPad 2 16GB Wifi for $ 300 and pick it up from the store when they had a two-day iPad sale. This is the cheapest price I could find!

Amazon.com and eBay

Last but not least, you can find good deals on Amazon and eBay if you’re really looking for discounts. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can get free shipping and get it faster than you could get it on other hardware sites. If you don’t mind buying something used, you can always find great deals on eBay

What are your favorite sites and places to find the best deals on computer hardware? Let us know in the comments. Enjoy!
