At a time when our lives are made easier by the fast internet and digital technology, most expect everything to work flawlessly. This is far from the truth. When using Windows 10, the only thing you should expect is to run into a few errors.
Unfortunately, there are some mistakes that cannot be avoided. So why are these errors occurring? What does each error mean? How do I fix them?

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to cover all the problems that you might encounter when using Windows 10. It will take much longer than you might have to sit down and read the article.
Fortunately, many error codes are actually the result of a single error. This is why I think the best place to start is this.
Windows 10 update errors
Most of the errors you encounter in Windows 10 occur when running Windows updates. This error can be called the cause of all the trouble. It will look like the image above and contain one of the following codes, if not something similar.

0x80070057, WindowsUpdate_8007002C, WindowsUpdate_dt000, 0x80072ee7, 80070005, 80240020, 80246007, 80070004 and many others.
According to Microsoft, these errors occur when Windows 10 initiates an automatic update and the program requires user interaction.
However, if you initiate Windows Update, these types of errors can occur for various reasons. It often takes several computer restarts to fix it. Removing security software can sometimes help, although this is not recommended.
If you’ve rebooted multiple times and still get the error, there might be something wrong with your software distribution folder.
- Click to open the Windows Start menu in the lower left corner of your screen.
- Click the Settings icon, which looks like a cogwheel.
- Scroll down and click Update & Security.
- Click “Troubleshoot” on the left side.
- In the Troubleshoot window, click Windows Update under the Getting Started heading.
- Click the Run the troubleshooter button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the wizard until the troubleshooting is complete.
Are you still experiencing issues? You can run it a few more times or try manually changing the software distribution folder.
This process can be difficult if you are not familiar with using the command line. Try this only if you feel comfortable.
- Type cmd in the search box on the taskbar.
- Under Best Match, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator from the menu.
You are about to disable several services. Start with the first command on the list and work your way down. Press the Enter key after each command you enter.
Then you will rename the SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folders. As in the previous step, enter each command and then press the Enter key.
We will now restart the services you previously disabled. By now, you should know how to do this.
Close Command Prompt, restart your computer and try updating again.

There are many reasons for this error: you may be using two incompatible programs, your computer has memory problems, potential complications caused by a malicious virus, and erroneous programming, just to name a few.
They are often accompanied by a numerical code to help identify the problem. Too many to go into details.

- Open Task Manager.
- Go to the Processes tab and sort the list by username.
- Kill each running process one by one. After each completed process, try what you were doing when the error occurred.
- If no error is returned, you have encountered an incompatible program.
- Please upgrade the incompatible program to prevent future errors.
The program you are trying to run may also be erroneous or corrupted, so make sure all programs are up to date before running.

This error, notoriously known as the Blue Screen of Death, usually occurs when Windows encounters a problem that it cannot handle and shuts down to avoid further complications.
It is no longer just a blue screen with numeric error codes, you can identify this screen by a frowning face accompanied by a basic message. Your PC has a problem usually accompanied by an error code. Regardless, after receiving this screen, you will have to restart your computer. This can make troubleshooting a little more difficult.
Most likely any change you made right before the error occurred is to blame. Depending on what was changed, you can choose to reboot with Last Known Good Configuration, through System Restore, or rolling back a device driver.
Make sure you have all Windows service packs and updates installed, update all hardware drivers and software updates, and run a virus scan.
If the problem is with the software, reinstall it or contact the developer for help. If a hardware problem occurs, update the firmware or replace the component.
